Agency introduction

WSX Enterprise is part of the SEA Group, a not for profit organisation,  whose mission is to develop the regional economy by providing services and support to businesses and collaborating with partners to deliver enterprise and economic development projects.  Our aim is to promote progressive economic growth and prosperity by acting as an innovation catalyst, energising and enabling our business customers to realise their potential.  We believe genuine, mutual partnership can deliver amazing results.

The Design Programme

The Design Programme provides businesses direct access to a wide range of design expertise, advice and practical support.  Our Design Advisers work closely with businesses giving them the support of a fully qualified design manager to bring tangible improvements to business performance and profitability.

Using volunteer business mentors from a broad range of business backgrounds, Mentor-Net enables SME owners and directors to access a huge amount of experience to support their own development and that of their business.

DIBS (Design and Innovation for Business Sustainability)

DIBS helps SMEs access the sustainable supply chains of larger organisations.  We work with a number of the UK’s large corporates to understand their current priorities to help strengthen the products and services of SMEs to help them access these supply chains.

DIFASS (Development of Interregional Financial Assistance to SMEs and of non-grant instruments)

DIFASS aims to identify sources of finance for SMEs and share best practice with EU partners, looking at the barriers for internationalisation of SMEs and how this can be facilitated to better access finance.

Fusion promotes sustainable innovation amongst future entrepreneurs’ small businesses – particularly in the start up and early stages.  Using innovative planning models and focused workshop sessions to support long term growth ambitions.

Rural-Net enables businesses to get together with others to exchange ideas and experience in a warm and friendly environment, hear from business experts and increase business success and ultimately the businesses’ bottom line.

BusinessXchange is a non-competitive network that brings together Dorset business owners or directors to share ideas, knowledge and resources. It’s an opportunity to meet business owners and find practical solutions to the common business issues, the results of which identify opportunities for improvement, business collaboration and potential joint ventures.
